• The designs comply with the stringent quality criteria of the Mercedes-Benz brand, some of which are far exceed the standards generally applied. Development was based on extensive experience and expertise acquired during the development of the basic vehicle and on the original vehicle CAD data. This means that an exceptional precision fit is assured. All parts are tested in computer simulations and undergo extensive practical testing for reliability, durability and function – including under highly adverse conditions. The aerodynamic components are also tested in the wind tunnel and in dynamic handling situations – among others on high-speed tracks. MercedesSport add-on parts also excel when it comes to dimensional stability. And because MercedesSport add-on parts meet the highest standards, they are covered by the Mercedes-Benz original warranty.
• As a result of the intelligent construction design, based on the "add-on principle", no existing parts have to be removed or replaced. The original bumpers, original side sills, etc. remain in place and the genuine MercedesSport accessories are added. This means a significantly lower use of resources and lower costs with identical or enhanced results in terms of looks and function.
• The people who design the basic vehicle are also responsible MercedesSport styling. The add-on parts underline the character of the vehicle and harmonize seamlessly with the distinctive design idiom of the Mercedes-Benz brand. Light-catching contours and taut surfaces convey a sporty feel and reinforce the bold appeal of the vehicle. With its sporty and more distinctly individual character, the vehicle is clearly recognizable as a Mercedes.
